If you spend the time,
If you had the patience,
If you wanted to get to know me again

I know...

You'd be happy,
You'd be proud,
You'd be glad I am your kin.

I wish...

Be a piece in my puzzle,
A shoulder by my side,
Know me forever, till one subsides.

I know...

You won't for that is your will,
This kinship has failed forever my friend,

That I shall forever feel.
